Indonesia with over 250 million of population is known has large renewable energy resources, so it needs to be optimally developed with investment opportunities and provide incentives for businesses and the wider community. Indonesia GDP expected to reach beyond US$ 1 trillion in 2013, ranking it the largest economy in Southeast Asia.
Recently, Indonesia government has issued a regulation on highest benchmark price of solar electricity selling price (feed-in tariff) of US$ 25 cents per kilowatt hour (kwh). This regulation will attracts investor to develop solar power in Indonesia. As tropical country where the sun shines all the year makes Indonesia has huge potential to use solar energy in future.

Indonesia middle class continues to grow (from around 25% of its population to 43% between 1999 and 2009) and along with it, the nation aggregate consumption power. Market forecasts suggest that this trend will be sustained.
