DEK Solar is set to showcase its latest photovoltaic technologies at International Green Energy Expo Korea 2011 to be held from April 6th to 8th at EXCO in Deagu in alignment with its local distributors GANA at booth A-562 and DKSH Korea at booth A-530. Visitors will be able to experience the company’s recent innovations and process advancements.
Taking centre stage on the GANA stand, the PVP1200 screen printer, which is equipped to deliver throughput of 1200 wafers per hour, forms the heart of DEK’s award-winning PV1200 metallization line, currently being proven in use by solar cell manufacturers worldwide.
Built using chassis and subsystems already proven in the global market for high volume, high-tech assembly, the PVP1200 combines high-speed and high-accuracy functionality with six-sigma process capabilities.
In addition, the teams at both GANA and DKSH booths will introduce DEK Solar’s new Eclipse platform which is a high throughput metallization technology featuring parallel print head processing options to maximise productive uptime to the visitors.
Incorporating six-sigma repeatability at class-leading accuracies, print speeds of 600mm/sec, advanced handling, integrated vision inspection and superior positional accuracy, the breakthrough platform is based on an innovative design featuring retrofittable modules that enable manufacturers to easily scale production from 1200, to 2400 or 3600wph.
Visitors will also be able to learn more on DEK Solar’s comprehensive range of precision screens and stencils, including variants with a base layer print for frontside grids, a second layer print designed to boost conductivity and a pioneering new hybrid solar screen – extending the support for advanced processes even further.
