Solectria Renewables, LLC, the leading U.S. PV inverter manufacturer, announced that it will expand its manufacturing operations into India and China as both countries announce significant growth opportunities for commercial and utility scale photovoltaic projects.

Solectria Renewables will be opening a 300 MW manufacturing plant in China and a 200 MW manufacturing plant in India. The additional capacity will support the local markets as well as provide job opportunities in these regions. “We want to be clear that no jobs will move out of North America and that manufacturing in Massachusetts and Ontario continue to expand,” said Phil Vyhanek, President of Solectria Renewables.

“The Chinese and Indian economies and solar initiatives are growing rapidly. We have expanded our manufacturing capacity in North America to 1 GW this year and we are strategically expanding our manufacturing into India and China to be at the forefront of the three most dynamic solar economies in the world,” said James Worden, CEO of Solectria Renewables.

Solectria will exhibit at SOLARCON India in Hyderabad on November 9‐11, 2011 and at SNEC in Shanghai, China on May 16‐18, 2012.

Solectria Renewables is exhibiting at Solar Power International in Dallas, TX, October 18‐20, 2011 in booth #1023.
