Since the company was founded in 1991, Sputnik Engineering has continuously increased the number of sales offices in accordance with the market and customer needs. The next expansion step followed in July this year with the foundation of a subsidiary in Shanghai. Another office was already opened in Peking in October to provide ideal support for the booming Chinese market. The Managing Director of Sputnik Engineering Trading Ltd. is George Geng, who has many years of professional experience in the energy sector. He is convinced that solar energy will become more and more important and that the high-quality SolarMax inverters will rapidly become prevalent in China.

The inverters of the SolarMax brand comprise 20 years of experience and art of engineering. The result is extremely reliable and powerful products characterised by durability and maximum efficiencies in the most diverse application and climate conditions. "The best prerequisites for also establishing our inverters on the Chinese market," explains George Geng. "I am absolutely convinced that Swiss quality and reliability will satisfy the people in China quickly as well," Geng adds.

Sputnik Engineering has the right inverter for every area of use in its portfolio, regardless of whether it's for a detached house, an agricultural solar system, an industrial building or a solar power plant in the megawatt range. "Our market launch in China comes at just the right time as the Chinese government is planning to increase its investments in the development of renewable energies in their own country in the years to come. This way, China underpins its will to gain ground in the field of regenerative energy production, particularly since the energy supply of the total population is not secured across the whole country yet," says Christoph von Bergen, Managing Director of Sputnik Engineering AG.
