SolarWorld AG Presents High-Quality Products in the Growth Market India

published: 2011-12-14 14:41

SolarWorld AG presents itself for the first time at an exhibition in India: From December 14 to 16, 2011 the Bonn company will be displaying solar power modules for on-grid and off-grid applications at the Intersolar show in Mumbai. With high-quality products SolarWorld AG will meet the constantly growing demand for environmentally friendly and sustainable energy generation on the subcontinent.

“India is one of the solar markets of the future. SolarWorld AG has already been present here for many years und closed several major deals in India in 2011,” says Dr.-Ing. E. h. Frank Asbeck, Chairman and CEO of SolarWorld AG. More systems are planned right now, among them numerous projects involving utilities. In addition to these large-scale projects, SolarWorld AG is placing an emphasis on the development and sale of off-grid systems in India. In many parts of the country diesel generators are still the only way of generating energy today. Off-grid systems are the only clean, sustainable and inexpensive alternative.

At the exhibition booth, SolarWorld Asia Pacific, the SolarWorld AG sales company for the Asian region, will show complete kit solutions specially adapted to the market. “We offer our customers so-called one-stop-shop systems where they get all the components needed for a solar power application from a single source,” says Max von Romatowski, Managing Director of SolarWorld Asia Pacific. In addition, the company supports its customers in the planning and design of the systems. “I am very much looking forward to meeting the first SolarWorld-certified Indian specialist partners at the exhibition.”

With the introduction of numerous funding programs at national and federal state level, India has rapidly developed from a small to one of the fastest growing solar markets worldwide.
