China BAK to Participate in the International Green Vehicle Congress 2012

China BAK Battery, Inc. ("China BAK" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: CBAK), a global manufacturer of lithium-based battery cells, announced that the Company's chief financial officer, Mr. Marcus Cui, will participate in the International Green Vehicle Congress (IGVC) event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Sha Tin in Hong Kong to be held from February 26-28, 2012.

At the IGVC, Mr. Cui will participate in a panel discussion on "Main Policy and Strategy & Advanced Technology Demo in EV and HEV" on February 28, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. local time.

Mr. Cui commented, "I look forward to discussing the development of electric vehicles (EV) with other attendees from the industry. In recent years, we have supplied our lithium-based batteries for electric vehicles to major manufacturers and have gained valuable experience. We would like to take this opportunity to share our thoughts and experience in the EV industry, and also learn from other participants at the conference."
