Change in the executive board at Bosch Solar Energy: Dr. Steffen Haack (46) has been appointed to the executive board of Bosch Solar Energy AG by the supervisory board after board member Peter Schneidewind will take over a new position in the Bosch Group on July 1st, 2012. Haack will assume responsibility for worldwide sales activities, sales coordination, marketing, service and product management. The previous member of the executive board, Peter Schneidewind, will become head of the international operating Product Area Accessories division at Bosch Power Tools in Solothurn, Switzerland.

Haack, who will take on his task at Bosch Solar Energy on August 1st, is currently head of Sales and Branch Management for Factory Automation in the industrial applications product area in the Drive and Control Technology business area of Bosch Rexroth AG. "With Steffen Haack we will get an experienced sales expert for our company. He will contribute to further strengthen Bosch Solar Energy’s position in the very difficult photovoltaics market", CEO Holger von Hebel emphasized. "We thank Mr. Schneidewind for his many years of work and commitment, which extend far back to the time prior to the entrance of Bosch into the, at that time, ersol Solar Energy AG", von Hebel further declared. He regrets his departure from the executive board, but understands that the 44-year-old is looking for a new challenge within the Bosch Group.
