published: 2013-01-29 15:11

CODA Energy, a developer and manufacturer of highly adaptive, scalable and reliable energy storage products, will display its core technology at the DistribuTECH Conference & Expo in San Diego January 29-31, 2013.  CODA will occupy booth 823 in the expo hall for the duration of the conference.

CODA’s energy storage systems (ESS) are built on foundational 40kW/40kWh vertical towers powered by CODA Core™ lithium-ion batteries and control systems.  Using a modular, tower-based ESS design allows CODA to scale systems from 40kWh to hundreds of megawatts.  The CODA Core uses the same proven technology that successfully powers the all-electric vehicles manufactured by CODA Automotive, CODA Energy’s sister company, including the Company’s battery management system.  CODA Automotive began distributing its vehicles in mid-2012.

CODA’s energy storage technology supports more than 20 applications, from load balancing and frequency regulation to demand response and renewables integration.  CODA’s strategy is to design and build comprehensive and reliable core energy solutions that are cost-effective, environmentally responsible and scalable in order to meet customer needs and enable mass deployment.
