JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., a global solar PV power product manufacturer, announced that the first phase of 200MW PV solar power plant located in Jin Chang, Gansu Province, China, has been successfully completed and connected to grid. The project was jointly invested and developed by the Company and Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd., a Chinese state-owned enterprise.

Spread across 11,416 acres with a total investment of RMB1.8 billion, the 200MW solar facility solely utilizes JinkoSolar high-efficiency modules which have proven to be the optimal choice for utility-scale solar projects. JinkoSolar modules maximize yields and land use while minimizing cost per kWh. The solar plant will generate an average of 300 million kWh annually making it China's largest independent PV solar power plants.

“We’re very pleased to have the opportunity to cooperate with Jinchuan Group on this very important project. The market and development of PV power plant projects in China is gradually maturing. Chinese developers, investors and financial institutions are increasingly concerned about the quality, performance and reliability of the PV power plants, especially large-scale PV power plant projects that require heavy capital investment. Only quality and sustainable long-term output of the power can ensure the future return on the investment.” said Mr. Xiande Li, Chairman of JinkoSolar.
