Sunrun Plans Further Expansion in the US

Sunrun plans to hire more than 800 additional employees and to expand or open 10 new offices across Arizona, California, Nevada and Hawaii by the end of 2014.

"Home solar installs have more than doubled in the last two years alone as Americans demand cleaner and more affordable energy like home solar," said Lynn Jurich, chief executive officer of Sunrun. "We continue to invest in the areas of our business that support high demand and high customer satisfaction, from Sunrun BrightPathTM, which ensures customized solar and fast installation to the quality assurance testing we perform on our hardware. Sunrun's plans for continued expansion further reinforce our commitment to having the teams, operations and resources in place for long-term growth and providing a high quality customer experience."

Through the end of the year, Sunrun plans to hire new employees, build new operations centers or expand existing facilities in the following locations across the country:

The range of positions to be filled is concentrated in sales and field operations, including field marketing associates, installers, electricians, site technicians, project and inspections coordinators, and branch coordinators.
