Expanding on advancing alternative energy technology, ASM Assembly Systems’ DEK Solar group announced the extension of its team with two personnel hires. William Zhang will assume the role of Senior Process Technologist and Kenneth Koh joins as Global Product Manager.
Zhang comes to DEK Solar with several years of solar R&D, engineering and project management experience and has previously worked for well-known companies such as China Sunergy, Applied Materials and, most recently, Equity Solar. He brings broad market and engineering insight to his role at DEK Solar, where his responsibilities will include the further development of cell characterization and analysis, continuous innovation to improve cell efficiency levels to meet next-generation requirements and interfacing with sales, engineering, customers and partners to ensure alignment with technology ambitions and deliverables.
Joining Zhang as a new DEK Solar team member is Kenneth Koh, who was a Global Product Manager at DEK Solar parent company, ASM Assembly Systems, before moving into a similar role at DEK Solar. With product marketing, project management and engineering experience, Koh offers a unique combination of skills and competencies to DEK Solar. As Global Product Manager, Koh’s work will focus on the development of new products and features that are driven from future market needs, align with technology roadmap objectives and enable customer competitiveness.
