BIG SUN Energy and SAS Sign Agreement to Distribute iPV Solar Trackers in Germany and Italy

BIG SUN Energy Technology Inc. (BIG SUN) and Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. (SAS) have signed an iPV® Solar Tracker exclusive distributor agreement. SAS has been authorized to distribute the patented iPV® Solar Tracker and iPVSYS monitoring systems in Germany and Italy over the next three years. This agreement marks Big Sun’s significant entrance into the European market.

“Wehaveinstalled a demo site in Luxembourg in July 2014.With our iPVSYS monitoring control system, it isable to remotely monitor the power generation conditions,” said Summer Luo, BIG SUN’s chairman, who is also the inventor of iPV® Solar Tracker.

So far, the Luxembourg iPV® Solar Tracker site has accumulatively generated1,345.6 kWh of solar energy, reducing857.1 kg of carbon dioxideemissions. The outstanding result helps convincing SAS of becoming Big Sun’s exclusive distributor in the German and Italian markets. In addition to supplying the iPV® Solar Tracker, BIG SUN will provide technical support, sales and service assistance to ensure quality products.

High efficiency products are always the winning key elements of SAS, and PV market is one important target of SAS global strategy. In early 2014, SAS acquired Aleo Solar from Bosch for its PV module manufacturing capacity and the brand’s reputation in Europe. With iPV® Solar Tracker’s assistance, SAS is confident of its market expansion plans.

The iPV® Solar Tracker was launched in 2012 and was awarded the National Industrial Innovation Award presented by the Ministry of Economic Affairsin 2013 in Taiwan. Big Sun has also signed strategic agreements with global leading solar companies such as Xingjian TEBA and Shenzhen Yingli New Energy Resources Co., Ltd. to develop solar PV projects using iPV® Solar Trackers. The cooperation between Big Sun and SAS wouldstrengthen both companies’ competitivenessinprovidingcomprehensive servicesas well as higher profits.
