Neo Solar Power (NSP)’s consolidated revenue reached NTD 2.078 billion in March, up 19.75% MoM and 25.46% YoY. The increasing shipment and revenue generated from GES’s selling of some power plants contributed to the growth in sales revenue. The total revenue totaled NTD 5.906 billion in the first three months, down 15.76% QoQ and up 27.55% YoY.
Looking ahead to the future, NSP indicated that although the weak momentum in China has led to lower order visibility and average selling prices (ASPs) in 2Q16, many market research companies are still optimistic about the installation this year. They projected that the installation this year will reach 60GW-65GW as forecasted in the beginning of the year. Thus, despite the short-term fluctuation, demand may grow like the forecast for the whole of 2016.
