ATrack Technology announced on June 29 that it is optimistic about the logistics, transportation, and fixed asset tracking business opportunities in Central and South American markets. The company will exhibit variety of new products such as a 10-year standby waterproof product model and LTE high-speed Internet of Vehicles (IoV) access gateway at the Expo Seguridad Mexico 2022.

Promoting a theme of "Connecting the Future," ATrack Technology showcases fleet and asset management applications. This year's key new product is the AS500 waterproof ultra-long standby satellite positioning asset monitor which can be used to track all kinds of assets that are not powered or not in long-term operation such as containers, pallets, construction machinery, etc., to help owners to quickly achieve cloud management.

According to a report by market research firm eMarketer, online shopping demand in Latin America has increased significantly during the pandemic prevention and control period. In 2020, e-commerce in the region reached US$84.95 billion and is expected to reach US$100 billion this year.

Chao Chen-wen, vice president of ATrack Technology, stated that Amazon has invested US$100 million to build new logistics facilities in Mexico in the past two years. There are various signs that logistics demand in Latin America has increased significantly and telecom operators in Latin America will gradually phase out 2G and 3G. In terms of network services, ATrack is optimistic that the demand for 4G products in Latin America will increase significantly, so it will exhibit a series of new products with 4G and NB-IoT communications.

For asset management applications, ATrack Technology will exhibit the AS500 waterproof ultra-long standby satellite positioning asset monitor with LTE-M and NB-IoT dual communication, which can operate for up to 10 years. A connected product that positions indoors using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth simultaneously is rare on the market as it supports both indoor and outdoor positioning and is perfectly suitable for high-value asset tracking.

For fleet management applications, ATrack Technology will display a series of wired, OBD, and waterproof vehicle satellite positioning monitors. The company will also display two new products that have not yet been mass-produced but have received many inquires including the AK500 IoV access gateway and AX300 OBD vehicle-mounted satellite positioning monitor.

The AK500 IoV access gateway can support the latest LTE Cat.4 high-speed network communication, which is an important foundation for the development of all-round IoV applications. It supports 4G communication and also has 5G/2.4G Wi-Fi sharing, Bluetooth, engine diagnosis and other functions. It contains a variety of interfaces to connect various sensors such as tire pressure monitors, temperature sensors, and various customized requirements, etc., and develop a variety of IoV applications.

The AX300 OBD vehicle-mounted satellite positioning monitor supports the new truck RP1226 interface and can simultaneously read two CAN bus signals on the vehicle including engine speed, mileage, speed, oil pressure, fuel consumption, etc., to help operators understand whether the engine, vehicle control components, etc. are operating normally through data analysis, so as to carry out preventive maintenance and improve overall operational efficiency.

The self-developed cloud device management platform ADM (ATrack Device Management) is also one of the highlights of the exhibition. Owners can manage a large number of satellite positioning monitors scattered around the world through ADM and can complete the update of tens of thousands of devices or settings. It is an indispensable software platform to improve the efficiency of device management.
