Inspur Secures Major Energy Storage OEM Deal: Trina, SYL Battery, CRRC Zhuzhou Among Winners

Recently, the winning bidders for Inspur’s energy storage system integration OEM tender have been announced, with a total procurement scale ranging from 400 MWh to 2 GWh.

The tender covers a 2.5 MW/5 MWh centralized storage system as well as five types of C&I storage systems with different specifications:

  • 125 kW/261 kWh
  • 100 kW/233 kWh
  • 186 kW/372 kWh
  • 209 kW/418 kWh
  • 100 kW/215 kWh

Trina Storage, SYL Battery, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, GOLEN POWER, Solarcarry, Haixi Storage, and Weisheng Energy were among the winning companies.

The tendering party, Inspur Intelligent Terminal Co., Ltd., required bidders to meet several conditions:

  • Possess PACK lines and system integration lines.
  • Submit a written commitment (self-prepared format, stamped with company seal) confirming the technical capacity to perform the contract, including but not limited to system design, assembly processes, commissioning, and testing, along with supporting technical measures.
  • Provide related SOP documents, including but not limited to process workflows, to ensure high-quality system integration services.
  • Assist the tendering party in obtaining required product certifications, offering necessary technical documents, test samples, and other support throughout the certification process to ensure smooth progress.
  • Demonstrate strong R&D capabilities in energy storage systems, with at least six related invention patents or published academic papers (copies required).
  • Provide proof of project track record of at least 600 MWh in energy storage system integration projects completed between January 1, 2022, and the submission deadline.
