TCL Zhonghuan and CTG Energy Sign Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

On October 17, TCL Founder and Chairman Li Dongsheng met with China Three Gorges Energy (CTG Energy) Chairman and Party Secretary Zhu Chengjun in Beijing. The two sides held in-depth and productive discussions on deepening cooperation across multiple sectors to support China’s “dual carbon” goals.
Attending the meeting were TCL Zhonghuan COO Ouyang Hongping, TCL Zhonghuan Vice President and Head of the Battery & Module BG Ju Xia, Head of the Strategic Investment Center Zhou Bin, and General Manager for China Region Kou Jianfeng, along with CTG Energy Deputy General Manager and Party Committee Member Lü Dong. During the session, Ouyang Hongping and Lü Dong signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both parties.
Chairman Li Dongsheng expressed his appreciation for CTG Energy’s long-standing support. He noted that as a global technology leader, TCL will leverage its strengths in market expansion, technological innovation, and international industrial layout to align closely with CTG Energy’s strategic goals and business needs. He emphasized TCL’s commitment to advancing practical cooperation across multiple levels and sectors, contributing technological strength to the creation of a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient modern energy system.
Chairman Zhu Chengjun welcomed Li Dongsheng and his delegation, noting that CTG Energy, as a key state-owned energy enterprise, plays an important role in serving national strategies. He expressed hopes that both sides would adhere to the principles of complementary strengths and mutual benefit, further strengthen strategic coordination, and deepen cooperation in areas such as green power collaboration, renewable energy project development, industrial chain synergy, and new technology R&D. He also commended TCL’s strong global operations and resilience, expressing confidence that TCL Zhonghuan will continue to thrive in the renewable energy sector across business cycles.
Leaders and representatives from relevant departments and subsidiaries of both parties also attended the meeting and signing ceremony.
