On December 5th, Shandong Xinbang New Energy Co., Ltd. was established in Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, with a registered capital of ¥300 million.

It is reported that the business scope of the new company covers various fields, including battery manufacturing and sales, operation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, manufacturing and sales of power transmission and distribution and control equipment, construction and operation of centralized fast charging stations, as well as R&D in emerging energy technologies and new material technologies.

Furthermore, information from Qichacha shows that Shandong Xinbang New Energy is wholly owned by Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery Co., Ltd. , marking another important step for Sunwanda in deepening its presence in the Shandong market.

Currently, Sunwanda has a relatively comprehensive industrial layout in Shandong, with its core focus area being Zaozhuang City. The layout primarily centers on three major segments: new energy vehicle power batteries, charging infrastructure, and zero-carbon industrial parks.

Regarding the progress of its expansion, as early as 2021, the Geely-Sunwoda Power Battery Project, with a total investment of ¥5 billion, was launched in Zaozhuang. The project covers an area of approximately 451 acres and is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 800,000 sets of hybrid power batteries upon reaching full capacity.

In the same year, Sunwoda further intensified its investment, announcing plans to invest approximately ¥20 billion in the Zaozhuang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone to construct a power battery and energy storage battery project with an annual capacity of 30 GWh.

In addition, Sunwoda has also established an energy storage and lithium battery recycling industry chain in Tengzhou City. Specifically, the Tengzhou Energy Storage Factory, invested and constructed by its subsidiary Shenzhen Sunwanda Smart Energy Co., Ltd., is equipped with one PACK automated production line and one energy storage container production line.
