According to EnergyTrend, on April 1, Pylon Tech released its 2025 annual report. Combined with its new products at ESIE 2026, breakthroughs in sodium-ion battery (SIB) technologies and future strategies, Pylon Tech has emerged as a strong competitor in the energy storage sector.

The annual report shows steady performance growth and outstanding core financial indicators for Pylon Tech in 2025. The company achieved full-year revenue of RMB 3.164 billion, a year-on-year increase of 57.81%; net profit attributable to parent company shareholders reached RMB 84.7288 million, surging 106.12% year-on-year, marking a significant improvement in profitability.

In terms of business structure, energy storage remains the core pillar, generating revenue of RMB 2.660 billion in 2025, up 35.90% year-on-year.

Regarding market layout, overseas markets maintained a solid position, with full-year revenue of RMB 2.266 billion, a year-on-year rise of 21.73%, accounting for 72.43% of total revenue. In recent years, Pylon Tech has continued to deepen its presence in mature European markets while accelerating penetration into emerging markets in Asia, Africa and Latin America. It has built a full-scenario ecosystem and further strengthened ties with local customers.

Beyond steady growth in traditional business markets, Pylon Tech takes the lead in the sodium-ion battery sector. In 2025, shipments of its SIB starter batteries exceeded 150MWh, ranking first in China. Its product portfolio is adaptable to multiple scenarios including generation-grid side and industrial & commercial (I&C) side.

In R&D, anode-free sodium-ion batteries have entered the final stage before mass production, scheduled for the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, the company has led the formulation of two sodium-ion battery-related group standards, gradually transforming into an industry standard-setter.

Earlier this month at ESIE 2026, Pylon Tech showcased a variety of new products and full-scenario energy storage solutions. It launched 588Ah and 601Ah large-capacity cells and supporting liquid-cooled energy storage systems for the first time, along with products such as the 522kWh integrated I&C energy storage cabinet.

Building on existing achievements, on April 3, Pylon Tech stated on an interactive platform that it possesses capabilities in energy storage system integration and design, and can provide one-stop energy storage solutions for various scenarios to optimize overall system performance.

In terms of strategic layout, Pylon Tech will focus on integrating the entire sodium-ion battery industrial chain in 2026 and promote large-scale application of products. Meanwhile, it plans to use no more than RMB 7.5 billion of idle funds for cash management to support R&D, capacity expansion and market development.

EnergyTrend believes that with the launch of new products, mass production of sodium-ion batteries and deepened global layout, Pylon Tech’s industry position is expected to be further consolidated. In the short term, large-capacity energy storage systems and sodium-ion starter batteries will become core growth drivers for performance. In the medium to long term, solid-state battery technology reserves and full industrial chain layout will further unlock broader market space for Pylon Tech.
