According to EnergyTrend, Eve Energy officially launched its local energy storage subsidiary in Australia on July 14, marking a crucial milestone in the company’s localized market layout in Australia.
In regard to its Australian localization strategy, Eve Energy stated that it will uphold the operational philosophy of "Local in Australia, for Australia" and build a full-process localized service system. With on-site local teams, the company can rapidly respond to local project demands and customize dedicated energy storage solutions tailored to the characteristics of the Australian market.
Furthermore, leveraging its existing order reserves, localized product R&D capabilities and supporting overseas production capacity, Eve Energy will improve its full-industry-chain service capabilities for the Australian market.
From the demand perspective, Australia represents one of the world’s core growth markets for energy storage. According to planning data from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), there is a substantial medium- and long-term gap in local energy storage installed capacity.
Meanwhile, Australian states have formulated stringent standards for energy storage grid connection and equipment safety. Reliance solely on cross-border product supply makes it difficult for overseas manufacturers to quickly respond to local project development, operation and maintenance, and compliance requirements. As such, localized entity operation has become a core competitive advantage for energy storage enterprises seeking in-depth development in the Australian market.
The establishment of the local energy storage subsidiary is not a short-term tactical layout, but a strategic move based on Eve Energy’s solid business foundation accumulated in Australia over time.
In terms of business cooperation, Eve Energy entered into a partnership with Australia’s leading energy storage integrator EVO Power in 2025, securing a five-year long-term energy storage system order with a total scale of 2.2 GWh. The company’s large-capacity energy storage containers have been widely deployed in local Australian energy storage power station projects.
In July 2026, Eve Energy collaborated with Australian integrator EcoJoule Energy and Hitachi Energy to launch localized turnkey energy storage products adapted to Australia’s distribution network market, further expanding its local application scenarios.
On the production capacity front, Eve Energy’s Malaysian overseas energy storage base has achieved large-scale mass production. Supported by its mature domestic energy storage cell production capacity, the company has built a stable global supply chain, providing sustainable capacity guarantees for the implementation of energy storage projects across Australia.
