Currently, all steel structure materials for the PACK workshop have arrived at the site, and steel column installation is in full swing. Rebar tying for the foundation beams of the battery cell factory is underway. The R&D building has progressed to column rebar tying and formwork installation on the third floor. The main structure of the NMP warehouse has been successfully topped out, and roof structural layer construction is being carried out for the electrolyte warehouse, laying a solid foundation for subsequent equipment installation, commissioning, completion, and production kickoff.

Washi Power Sodium-Ion Battery Materials Project Construction Begins

On July 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Washi Power Sodium-Ion Battery Key Materials Production Base Project was held in the Jiangning Development Zone.

With a total investment of 500 million yuan, the project mainly focuses on the R&D and production of key materials for sodium-ion batteries and battery modules, and will construct production plants, R&D office buildings, and supporting facilities.

Hunan Yuneng Plans Investment in New Energy Battery Materials Project

On the evening of July 17, Hunan Yuneng New Energy Battery Material Co., Ltd. announced plans to establish the Guizhou Yuneng (Weng'an) Mining-Chemical Integrated New Energy Battery Material Circular Industry Project in Weng'an County, Qiannan Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. The project entails a total investment of approximately 24 billion yuan and an overall planned construction period of 5 years.

According to the announcement, the project adopts a phased construction model. Within 18 months of official construction commencement, the company plans to complete an investment of 5 billion to 8 billion yuan, with the subsequent construction pace dynamically adjusted based on market demand for new energy.

The core planned capacity of the project includes 800,000 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and 1,000,000 tonnes of iron phosphate, alongside supporting processing lines for phosphorus sources, iron sources, and lithium carbonate, as well as lithium battery recycling operations. The upstream segment includes supporting facilities for phosphate rock mining, mineral processing, phosphorus chemical processing, sulfuric acid production, and pyrite processing, creating a circular industry ecosystem that integrates resource extraction, precursors, cathode materials, and battery recycling.

Lantaitong Headquarters and New Energy Battery Project Commissioned

On July 18, the headquarters and new energy battery project of Lantaitong Group were officially commissioned.

Located in Qinghuang Village, Qingxi Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, the project represents an investment of 800 million yuan and covers an area of approximately 58.43 mu (around 3.9 hectares). The park features comprehensive facilities, including standardized factory buildings, employee dormitories, and specialized warehouses. Its core business encompasses the research, development, and manufacturing of new energy lithium batteries, nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries, and PACK assembly products.

Kaiyi New Material Anode Material Project Put into Production

Recently, the integrated anode material project of Hebei Kaiyi New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was fully put into operation. Automated production lines are operating in an orderly manner, with anode material precursor products continuously rolling off the lines.

With a total investment of 1.25 billion yuan, the project's planned layout features multiple core production units, including a 450,000-tonne/year aromatics enrichment unit, a 270,000-tonne/year aromatic-rich oil refining unit, a 120,000-tonne/year anode material precursor production unit, a 50,000-tonne/year calcination unit, and a 10,000-tonne/year sulfur recovery unit. This forms a tightly integrated upstream and downstream production system, establishing a complete industry chain from basic chemical processing to high-end intermediates and new energy material applications.

Zhongcheng Xintou Sodium-Ion Battery Anode Material Project Signed

Recently, the 300,000-tonne coconut shell pre-carbonization and 20,000-tonne sodium-ion battery hard carbon anode material project, invested in with 2.1 billion yuan by Beijing Zhongcheng Xintou Energy Technology Co., Ltd., was officially signed and landed in Fuping County, Baoding City, Hebei Province.

Covering a total area of 240 mu (around 16 hectares) with a construction period of 24 months, the project will primarily produce pre-carbonized materials from coconut shells and corn stalks, hard carbon anode materials, and silicon-carbon materials. These products are widely used in key fields such as energy storage batteries and new energy power batteries.

All-Solid-State Battery Intelligent Manufacturing Line Project Lands
