Over 10GW! CR Power, CNNC, and Others Announce PV Module Procurement Results

From August 17 to 19, Guangdong Energy Group, CR Power, CNNC, Hunan Company, and others successively announced module procurement results or winning candidates, with a cumulative procurement scale exceeding 10GW.

Guangdong Energy Group PV Module Procurement Winning Announcement

On August 19, the winning results for Guangdong Energy Group's 2026 Second Batch of Centralized PV Module Procurement Projects were announced, with HOYUAN Green Energy and DMEGC winning the bids.

The tender was divided into two lots, with a tentative total procurement scale of 170MWp. Among them, Lot 1 is the Taizhou Yuedian Jiangyan 115MW Fishery-Solar Complementary PV Power Generation Project, with a tentative procurement of 139MWp, adopting N-type TOPCon dual-glass modules with a front-side power output of no less than 640Wp, won by HOYUAN Green Energy at a unit price of 0.73 RMB/W.

Lot 2 is the Guangdong Energy Fuyang District Lushan Sub-district Centralized PV Project, with a tentative procurement of 31MWp, adopting N-type dual-glass modules with a front-side power output of no less than 630Wp, won by DMEGC at a unit price of 0.654 RMB/W.

CR Power Opens Bids for 5.4GW Module Procurement

On August 19, the results for CR Power's 2026 Centralized PV Module Equipment Procurement Project were announced. Four companies—GCL SI, DMEGC, Huayao PV, and JA Solar—won the bids, with winning unit prices ranging between 0.6631 and 0.712 RMB/W.

The procurement was divided into 3 tender packages and 5 lots, with a total scale of 5.4GW. Among them, Package 1 has a procurement capacity of 3GW, adopting N-type TOPCon bifacial dual-glass modules with a power output of no less than 620Wp. For the 1.6GW lot in Package 1, GCL SI, DMEGC, and Huayao PV were the short-listed candidates; for the 1.4GW lot in Package 1, JA Solar, Huayao PV, and DMEGC were the short-listed candidates.

Package 2 has a procurement capacity of 2GW, adopting N-type TOPCon bifacial dual-glass monocrystalline modules with a power output of no less than 710Wp. Among them, for the 800MW lot in Package 2, GCL SI, JA Solar, and DMEGC were the short-listed candidates; for the 1.2GW lot in Package 2, Huayao PV, JA Solar, and DMEGC were the short-listed candidates.

Package 3 has an estimated procurement capacity of 400MW, with module power output no less than 725Wp, and the short-listed candidates were JA Solar, Huayao PV, and DMEGC.

The expected delivery time for each lot is mainly concentrated between August 2026 and July 2027.

CNNC Opens Bids for 4.3GW PV Module Procurement

On August 18, the short-listed candidates for CNNC's 2026–2027 Tier-1 Centralized PV Module Equipment Procurement Project were announced. Six companies made the list: Astronergy, JA Solar, Yingli Solar, Tongwei, Huayao PV, and LONGi, with bid prices of 0.71 RMB/W, 0.695 RMB/W, 0.69 RMB/W, 0.7 RMB/W, 0.748 RMB/W, and 0.685 RMB/W, respectively.

According to the tender notice, this is a framework procurement covering module equipment required for PV projects of CNNC and its relevant affiliated units. The total estimated procurement scale is about 4.3GW, with a framework validity period of 1 year starting from the agreement's effective date.

In terms of technology, this centralized procurement adopts N-type modules, covering both TOPCon and BC technology routes. Bidding enterprises could choose one as the primary option and the other as a backup based on their production capacity, or bid exclusively for products under one technology route.

Hunan Company Announces Results for Over 217MW Module Procurement

On August 17, the winning results for Hunan Company's 2026 (1st Batch) Public Tender for PV Module Procurement were published. Divided into 2 lots, JinkoSolar and JA Solar won the bids respectively, with a combined procurement scale exceeding 217MW.

Among them, Lot 1 was won by JinkoSolar, covering the Lüzihu Project and Zhengyang Project, procuring 205,171 units of N-type 650Wp bifacial dual-glass modules, with a total capacity of 133.36MWp.

Lot 2 was won by JA Solar, covering the Anningyuan Project, procuring 142,098 units of N-type 590Wp bifacial dual-glass modules, with a total capacity of 83.84MWp.

Hainan Wenchang 100MW Module Procurement Results Released

On August 17, the winning announcement for the PV module equipment procurement of the Changsa Town 100MW Composite PV Project in Wenchang City was published. JinkoSolar won the bid with a total tax-inclusive bid price of approximately 87.6094 million RMB, equivalent to a unit price of around 0.73 RMB/W.

Located in Changsa Town, Wenchang City, Hainan Province, the project has a planned DC side capacity of 120MWp and an AC side capacity of 100MW. A total of 32 PV power generation units will be built, including 29 units of 3.2MW and 3 units of 2.6MW.
