EnergyTrend has learned that recently, projects in the lithium battery and energy storage industry are continuing to advance. CALB, Haikuo Power, and Luwen Technology are respectively pushing forward with projects involving lithium iron phosphate materials and energy storage system integration.

CALB Builds New 300,000-Ton Lithium Iron Phosphate Project

Recently, the first Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) public notice was issued for the 300,000-ton/year lithium iron phosphate (LFP) material project of Liding Material Technology (Sichuan) Co., Ltd.

Located in the Pengshan Economic Development Zone in Meishan, Sichuan province, the project has a total investment of 3.36 billion RMB. It plans to build new LFP material production lines along with supporting production and auxiliary facilities. Once completed, the project is expected to form a production capacity of 300,000 tons of LFP materials annually.

It is understood that Liding Material is a subsidiary of CALB. Adding the previously completed 100,000-ton LFP capacity, CALB's total planned LFP capacity in Meishan will reach 400,000 tons per year.

Haikuo Power's Energy Storage Lithium Battery Project Completed and Put into Production

Recently, the energy storage lithium-ion battery and system integration production project of Nanyang Haikuo Power Co., Ltd. was completed and put into production in Zhenping County, Henan province.

Located in the Zhenping County Development Zone, the project has a total investment of 328 million RMB. It features production lines for steel-case and pouch lithium batteries, as well as supporting production lines for cathode and anode materials, covering stages including the R&D, production, and system integration of energy storage batteries. The products are mainly applied in scenarios such as residential, small-scale commercial and industrial (C&I), and portable energy storage.

Luwen Technology Advances 10GWh Energy Storage System Integration Project

On August 18, the EIA document for the 10GWh/year energy storage system integration project (re-submitted for approval) of Anhui Luwen Technology Co., Ltd. was proposed to be approved by the Hexian Branch of the Ma'anshan Ecological Environment Bureau.

It is understood that the project has a planned capacity of 10GWh, and upon completion, it will add new capacity for energy storage system integration. The EIA entering the proposed approval public notice stage signifies that the advancement of the project construction is further materializing.
