Vestas Receives 140 MW Order in Poland

Vestas has received an order from PROKON Energiesysteme GmbH for 70 V90-2.0 MW turbines for a series of wind energy projects in Poland. 

The V90-2.0 MW turbines will be placed at several wind farms across Poland, with a total combined capacity of 140 MW. The turbines will have a hub height of 105 metres.

Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to start in late 2011, with completion estimated for late 2012. Twenty-five of the 70 turbines will be installed in 2011. The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines and a VestasOnline® Business SCADA system.

PROKON Energiesysteme GmbH is an experienced and committed German wind energy project investor, planner, developer and operator, located in Itzehoe.
