Sustainable Energy Technologies Ltd. (TSX-V:STG) (“Sustainable Energy”) is pleased to announce the inclusion of their made in Ontario SUNERGY inverters for use in 4 commercial roof top installations for a large public housing corporation located through-out Toronto. Designed by Solsmart Energy Solutions, the installations are currently being managed by Johnson Controls International.

SUNERGY’s low-voltage, high yield, parallel, roof-top performance were critical drivers in Solsmart choosing the SUNERGY inverter, according to Khalid Grant a Solar Designer and Engineer for Solsmart “Your Sunergy inverter is turning out to be exactly the solution we need. Other string inverters like SMA require a minimum string size of 12 or 13 which makes it impossible to do a system with 15 or 18 panels. The Sunergy inverter is allowing us to use smaller string sizes and giving us more design flexibility.”

“Design flexibility is crucial for coverage on all non ideal rooftops, and where a balanced three phase connection it is a must. Our system is the only one in the market to provide this with the safety of low voltage, delivering on our value proposition for roof tops at the commercial level” added Sustainable CEO Michael Carten 140kW of these projects are located throughout a portfolio of more than 2,000 high, medium and low-rise and apartment buildings.
