On the evening of October 30, five leading photovoltaic (PV) enterprises—Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. (JinkoSolar), LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (LONGi Green Energy), Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (Trina Solar), Tongwei Co., Ltd. (Tongwei), and Risen Energy Co., Ltd. (Risen Energy)—released their financial performance reports for the third quarter of 2026. Taking into account previously disclosed corporate disclosures, the operational results and shipment figures of 11 solar companies over the first three quarters are detailed below.

Jinko Solar

On October 30, JinkoSolar released its financial report for the third quarter of 2026. During the first three quarters, the company recorded operating revenue of RMB 38.34 billion, representing a year-on-year decline of 20.1%; the net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 3.367 billion, while the net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss amounted to RMB 4.046 billion.

On a single-quarter basis, during the third quarter, the company realized operating revenue of RMB 13.613 billion, down 15.74% year-on-year; the net loss attributable to shareholders stood at RMB 290 million, and the net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss was RMB 685 million. The company noted that the year-on-year contraction in the third-quarter loss was primarily attributable to an increased shipment share of high-power PV modules.

In terms of shipments, from January to September 2026, JinkoSolar achieved 44.64 GW in PV module shipments and delivered 4.5 GWh of energy storage systems.

JinkoSolar stated that throughout the third quarter, the company continued to advance the upgrade and capacity ramp-up of its TOPCon 3.0 manufacturing lines, steadily optimizing production costs and further elevating the shipment proportion of high-power products. Notably, its Tiger Neo 3.0 (Feihu 3) modules accounted for more than one-third of total shipments in the third quarter. Concurrently, both shipments and recognized revenue in its energy storage division expanded, with the quarterly scale of recognized energy storage revenue increasing further.

LONGi

LONGi also disclosed its third-quarter report for 2026 on the evening of October 30. Over the first three quarters, the company generated operating revenue of RMB 43.864 billion, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 13.85%; the net loss attributable to shareholders reached RMB 4.713 billion, and the net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss totaled RMB 5.533 billion.

Looking at the third quarter alone, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 16.819 billion in Q3 2026, a decline of 7.08% year-on-year, accompanied by a net loss attributable to shareholders of RMB 1.029 billion. The company stated that its third-quarter net loss narrowed substantially on a quarter-on-quarter basis, gross profit margins improved steadily both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter, and operating cash flows turned positive.

Regarding shipments, LONGi shipped 48.61 GW of modules in the first three quarters of 2026. Sales of Back-Contact (BC) modules reached 31.64 GW—a year-on-year surge of 118.58%—accounting for over 65% of total shipments and driving notable market share gains across overseas and distributed generation markets. In the third quarter, the gross profit margin of BC modules rose by 6.27 percentage points compared to the first half of the year, demonstrating sustained improvement in product profitability.

In the energy storage segment, LONGi has established a comprehensive product lineup addressing diverse scenarios—such as utility-scale power stations, commercial and industrial (C&I) projects, and off-grid/microgrid systems. Relying on its full-stack proprietary technologies and solar-plus-storage integration advantages, the company accelerated its global business expansion.

Trina Solar

On October 30, Trina Solar published its financial report for the third quarter of 2026. Over the first three quarters, operating revenue reached RMB 47.978 billion, a year-on-year contraction of 3.99%; net loss attributable to shareholders was RMB 1.942 billion, while net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss stood at RMB 4.105 billion.

On a single-quarter basis, Trina Solar generated operating revenue of RMB 15.993 billion in the third quarter, down 15.45% year-on-year; net loss attributable to shareholders was RMB 1.672 billion, and net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss totaled RMB 1.215 billion.

Trina Solar noted that orders from high-value regional markets accounted for a steadily rising proportion of its module operations, with its energy storage and distributed PV businesses making positive contributions to profitability. Furthermore, the company realized notable investment income from the partial disposal of equity assets obtained through earlier strategic transaction arrangements, and the cumulative fair-value increase of the remaining undisposed equity assets also generated gains on changes in fair value.

Tongwei

On the same day, Tongwei published its third-quarter financial report for 2026. Over the first three quarters, the company recorded operating revenue of RMB 58.337 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 9.69%; the net loss attributable to shareholders reached RMB 6.759 billion, and the net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss was RMB 6.868 billion.

The company achieved sequential loss reduction on a single-quarter basis in the third quarter. In Q3 2026, Tongwei generated operating revenue of RMB 23.98 billion, representing a marginal year-on-year decline of 0.46%; the net loss attributable to shareholders stood at RMB 1.639 billion, narrowing by 38.71% quarter-on-quarter compared to Q2; and the net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss came in at RMB 1.585 billion, reflecting a 41.79% quarter-on-quarter reduction.

Risen Energy

On October 30, Risen Energy also released its third-quarter financial report for 2026. For the first three quarters, the company posted operating revenue of RMB 5.415 billion, dropping 48.27% year-on-year; net loss attributable to shareholders was RMB 1.417 billion, while net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss was RMB 1.462 billion.

On a quarterly basis, operating revenue in the third quarter stood at RMB 1.394 billion, down 53.91% year-on-year; net loss attributable to shareholders was RMB 597 million, and net loss after deducting non-recurring profit or loss reached RMB 585 million.

Addressing its financial fluctuations, Risen Energy stated that influenced by the supply and demand conditions across the photovoltaic industry chain, the sales volume of the company's PV modules contracted compared to the same period last year, leading to an expanded net loss.
