Elecnor, via its subsidiary Zinertia Renovables, plans to install photovoltaic panels on the roof of the E. Leclerc supermarket building and parking lot marquees, in Sangonera La Seca, Murcia.

Elecnor is the developer and manufacturer of these installations in which a total of 3,066 modules will be installed, 1,365 on the building’s roof and the remaining 1,701 atop the parking lot marquees.

Altogether, the installations will produce some 610kWn of power, 280kWn attributable to the roof and 300kWn to the marquees. This technology will use the installed modules to transform solar radiation and generate energy without producing CO2 emissions.

In addition to the modules, the installation includes an electrical system which will evacuate the energy produced, a monitoring system and centre that transforms, measures and delivers the energy generated by the solar roof.

Elecnor currently has 5.3MW of roof-top installations in Spain and 29MW in the international market, making it an energy industry benchmark as a developer and manufacturer of all components needed to configure a photovoltaic system.
