The government of France has selected bids for 541 MW of solar plants of various technologies through two requests for tenders (RFTs), including five projects submitted by Element Power Solar for a total power of 18 MW.

The five Element Power Solar projects are: Tournus: 2,06 MWp, Orain: 9,51 MWp (both in Burgundy), Besset: 2,16 MWp (Midi-Pyrenées), Soucia: 2,66 MWp and Sydom: 1,36 MWp (both in Franche Comté).

"The selection of the five projects submitted, in the very competitive French market, confirms Element Power Solar as a leading actor in the global Solar business” – says Paolo Pietrogrande, Chairman of EPS. “The local presence of our teams and our ability to optimize projects has resulted in this significant success".

Element Power Solar’s projects have been selected within the first French tender for > 250 kW plants. The five projects, totaling 18 MW, will be constructed and commissioned in the next two years and will sell power under a long-term purchase agreement with the government of France for 20 years.
