Power Supply manufacturer FSP Technology Inc. (FSP) announced new product launches for COMPUTEX Taipei, 2016. FSP is showcasing the EMERGY 1000/3000 Energy Storage Systems, PV Inverters, ION Mate, and the ESS portable battery system as part of their eco-friendly power storage range, enterprise and home server PSU range, and their consistently strong gaming PSU product range.

Eco Friendly Power Storage Systems

The EMERGY 1000/3000 stand to revolutionize the way consumers transport and harness power, with the potential to save thousands of watt hour off a single charge. Designed to be portable and silent, the EMERGY 1000 and 3000 are highly efficient, fanless, battery chargers that have easy-to-use retractable handles. The portable devices have dual AC/PV inputs to easily charge the high-powered 600 watts and 1.5kW inverter.

The ION MATE is FSP’s solution on power grid failures. It is a stand-alone, self-managed all-in-one energy storage system. In keeping things “green” the ION MATE is the perfect companion for solar power management. It houses long-life lithium iron phosphate batteries, power management is run off AC and photovoltaic chargers and the DC-AC inverters streamlines the conversion from battery to electricity in the home.

The PV inverters including Grid-tied Inverter, Off-grid Inverter with backup, Hybrid Inverter with backup, and the microinverter. These inverters are the ideal solution for PV panel installations and backup for off-grid management. The aforesaid inverters work seamlessly with solar panels, FSP PV inverters, FSP ION rack, and the household wiring box to deliver a scalable and flexible power system. Not only does it reach peak EU efficiency (96%) but also meets stringent component requirements from global vendors. Depend on your cost demand, HySpirit series, a hybrid inverter, can offer you a difference choice for self-consumption or load shifting automatically via battery banks and/or solar power without utility power to save your money and/or reduce energy bill.

IPC Enterprise, Home Server PSU

For small/medium-size businesses and home operations, FSP are releasing the Micro Inverter. The Micro Inverter harvests 25% more energy and offers no hazard DC voltage. The PV Micro Inverter is ideal for extending the power system and can be monitored with or without an internet connection. Connectivity takes place via PLC or Zigbee and the web-based real-time monitoring system can also be remotely accessed. FSP COMPUTEX TAIPEI is to announce 500W redundant power supply called the Twin Series. This power supply is ideal for mail, web, and home servers and fits comfortably in a standard ATX or PS2 tower chassis. It carries dual hot swappable power cages. The main feature of the Twin Series is redundancy - if one power source fails the second is for backup. The on-board software indicates when there are over current, short circuit, over voltage, or fan failure and the LED indicators help with alarm detection. The Twin Series uses flat ribbon cables which is ideal for space constrained chassis. The Twin Series has a 5 year warranty.

Gaming PSU supports VR

FSP Technology Inc. release the Dagger Series. The Dagger Series comes in two flavors 500/600W and uses FSP’s new 80 PLUS® gold SFX form-factor PSU. Dagger Series is fully modular and DC to DC module design that is compact in size and is suitable for small PC’s, VR systems, Micro ATX systems and home media devices. The Dagger Series is compliant with SFX12V, V3.3 and ATX12V V2.4. FSP only uses the best 100% Japanese made electrolytic capacitors which means FSP takes quality seriously. The high quality 80mm dual ball bearing fan keeps internal noise quiet. The DC to DC modular design offers supreme efficiency, voltage stability, and cross regulation mode to handle unbalanced loads. The Dagger Series comes with a higher power density, double that of standard ATX PSU’s. FSP will also have free-to-play VR’s to demonstrate the Dagger Series compatibility and small-size form factor. The Hydro G, an earlier popular PSU will also be on display.
