Jinko Japan, a subsidiary of JinkoSolar, and EPC service provider Quantum Power GK entered into a PV module supply agreement. Jinko Japan will supply 187MW of PV modules for three PV projects to be constructed in Japan.

Quantum Power will install Jinko Japan’s 275Wp solar panels at three PV projects locating in Ibaraki, Gunma, and Mie Prefectures, respectively. Jinko Japan plans to start module delivery in the fourth quarter of 2017, while the projects will gradually begin construction from July 2017 and are scheduled to be completed by November 2018.

Quantum Power’s Mie PV project will be its largest one in Japan. Every year, the project is expected to generate up to 127,500MWh of electricity, enough to power around 90,000 households in the region.

"We are pleased to enter into this strategic relationship with Quantum Power GK," commented Mr. Gener Miao, JinkoSolar's Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. "Our influence in the Japanese market will further increase and our efforts to support our customers in Japan will be greatly enhanced through this new relationship."
