Bucharest, Sep 16th , LONGi, a leading Chinese photovoltaic (PV) technology enterprise, will supply 300MW of solar modules for multiple PV projects in Romania. These projects are developed by Enexus Renewables, a local EPC company.
As stated by both companies, this cooperation involves the delivery and installation of 488,000 LONGi Hi-MO 7 modules. These modules stand out due to their advanced HPDC cell technology, high bifaciality rate, and excellent power temperature coefficient, which ensure superior energy efficiency and long-term performance.
The modules will be widely used in the construction of PV projects that Enexus plans to launch in southern and northwestern Romania in 2025.
"This is not just an equipment supply contract, but a strategic alliance that will strongly accelerate the achievement of Romania's energy transition goals. The combination of LONGi's advanced technology with Enexus' market expertise and efficient execution capabilities forms a highly competitive partnership. What we provide is not just modules, but also more resilient and sustainable energy infrastructure for Romania's future development," said Liam Tang, General Manager of LONGi Eastern Europe.
"As Enexus continues to expand its business footprint in Romania and the Black Sea region, strengthening cooperative relationships with suppliers has become a strategic priority. The foundation of our growth lies in trust—both the trust from the investors we serve and the trust from the partners we rely on. We are very proud to further deepen our cooperation with LONGi and continue to advance the construction of solar + energy storage projects in Romania and the broader regional market, committed to raising the standards of the entire industry," said Mesut Güler, Founder and CEO of Enexus.
In 2024, LONGi and Enexus jointly delivered one of Romania's first PV-storage hybrid projects: a 20.4MW PV power plant in Gorj County, equipped with a 2.5MW energy storage system. The plant has been successfully connected to the grid and operational since July 2024.
