On September 15,the Xiangyang Municipal People’s Government and CORNEX signed an investment agreement in Xiangyang for the CORNEX Xiangyang Lithium Battery Industrial Park Project.
The CORNEX Xiangyang Lithium Battery Industrial Park is planned to have an annual production capacity of 70GWh,focusing on the research,development,and manufacturing of energy storage batteries,power batteries,Packs,and prefabricated cabins.Once fully completed and put into operation,it will emerge as a leading-scale and technologically advanced new energy industry hub,effectively driving the transformation and upgrading of the new energy sector in Xiangyang and across Hubei Province.
The successful signing of the CORNEX Xiangyang Lithium Battery Industrial Park Project marks an important step for CORNEX in deepening its industrial strategic layout.Xiangyang CORNEX will join hands with Xiaogan CORNEX,Wuhan CORNEX,and Yichang CORNEX to build a highly efficient,collaborative,and complementary industrial community.Together,they will form a complete lithium battery industry chain ecosystem covering R&D innovation,large-scale manufacturing,and high-end applications,promoting the clustered development of the lithium battery industry chain in Hubei Province and injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of China’s new energy industry.
