Recently, the industrialization process of China's domestic energy storage sector has continued to accelerate, with leading enterprises across the entire supply chain increasing their investment in new production capacity.
In mid-November, significant developments were seen in both core energy storage components and system integration: Inovance Technology's Xi'an Energy Storage Base officially went into operation, targeting the global top tier of PCS (Power Conversion System) single factories with an annual designed capacity of 50 GW. Simultaneously, Guotian Energy officially broke ground on its 3 GWh Smart Energy Storage Module PACK Container Production Line in Erenhot, boosting its efforts in downstream system integration.
Inovance Technology's Xi'an Energy Storage Base Officially Starts Production
On November 17, Inovance Technology's Xi'an Energy Storage Base, located in the Fengdong New City of Xixian New Area, officially began operations. Its annual designed capacity of 50 GW places it in the global top tier of PCS single factories.
The total investment for the project is approximately 1 billion yuan. Once fully operational, it is expected to achieve an annual operating revenue of 8 billion yuan and provide over 1,500 jobs.
The base primarily manufactures energy storage and power supply systems. The energy storage equipment includes: energy storage inverters, inverters, solar-storage inverters, boost integrated machines, and integrated energy storage machines. The power supply equipment includes: wire drawing machine power supplies, plasma power supplies, hydrogen production power supplies, and complete sets of equipment.
Guotian Energy Breaks Ground on Erenhot Energy Storage Module PACK Container Production Line
On November 13, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for Guotian Energy's Erenhot Smart Energy Storage Module PACK Container Production Line project.
The total investment for the project is 40 million yuan, with a planned annual capacity of 3 GWh.
The project will primarily build automated production lines for modules, battery boxes, battery clusters, and system integration testing, forming an annual production capacity of thousands of sets of energy storage systems. These systems will be widely applied in new energy power stations, commercial and industrial energy storage, and transportation electrification fields.
