Panasonic Showcased Smart & Sustainable Technology Solutions at GITEX 2014

Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF) - based in UAE - participated at GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) 2014, showcasing a spectacular product line-up in-sync with the concept of futuristic smart living, representing the company’s ethos, "A Better Life, A Better World."

GITEX 2014, the Middle East's leading ICT show, was held in Dubai, UAE, from October 12th - 16th 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Almost 100,000 conference attendees from 150 countries was there to focus on innovation and promote "Smart Living". Reports indicate that the region's ICT market is set to jump from a projected $15 billion in 2014 to $20 billion by 2020.

Marking the 16th consecutive year of participation and while ensuring a formidable presence at the show, Panasonic showcased and demonstrated its extensive line-up of products for the B2B and B2G segments while reiterating its commitment in offering total business solutions aimed at diverse industry verticals.

During this year's show, the Panasonic stand at GITEX 2014 was graced by visits from the royal families including His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council and His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development for UAE.

PMMAF emphasized the concept of sustainable living through endeavors like the Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town, Agriculture Solution - Indoor Farming Technology and Healthcare Solution - HOSPI and RESYONE.

Likewise, Panasonic's smart communication, smart office automations, smart display products including the latest IP-PBX range, fastest multi-function duplex printers, world's first ultra-short throw lens for 3-chip DLP projectors and compact size high brightness and solid state illumination projectors, super narrow bezel video wall displays, ToughPad line-ups, Storage battery system based on the rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, Video Intercom & Home Security Solutions and last but not the least, the company's strength in 4K technology was also evident in the impressive line-up of display solutions and camera's at the show.

A press conference highlighting Panasonic's presence was held on the opening day of GITEX 2014 and was attended by media personnel's from across Middle East & Africa. The event garnered a lot of interest from the media on various Panasonic products.
