First Coulomb Public ChargePoint Charging Station for Electric Vehicles Installed in Philadelphia

Coulomb Technologies announced that the first public ChargePoint® Networked Charging Station for electric vehicles are installed in Philadelphia.  The 240V Level II ChargePoint station is now available to the public and located at South Port Plaza Liberty Service Stations 1600 South Columbus Blvd Philadelphia, PA.  The sale of the ChargePoint station was done by Coulomb distributor Green Power Technology, LLC and installation of the stations was done by South Jersey Green, LLC.

“Within the next year we’ll see electric vehicles from every major automobile manufacturer driving down the streets Philadelphia including the Chevrolet Volt, the Nissan LEAF, the Ford Focus EV and others,” said Richard Lowenthal, CEO of Coulomb Technologies.  “It is fitting that a city so rich in history is now writing a new chapter by welcoming new clean transportation, electric vehicles.”

The ChargePoint® Network is open to all drivers of plug-in vehicles and all manufacturers of plug-in vehicle charging stations. ChargePoint Network’s unique features include:
