SolarWorld AG Presents Roof-Integrated Solar Power Solutions in London

published: 2012-03-22 15:42

From 20 to 22 March at Ecobuild 2012 in London, the UK's largest trade show for sustainable construction, SolarWorld AG will be presenting its solar power system complete solutions. These meet the increased requirements of customers for stylish and sophisticated, easy-to-install solar systems with a reliable yield. The trade fair also sees the Sundeck® Slate, which enables solar modules to blend harmoniously into the roof, being presented for the first time.

"In the UK, there is great interest in our kit systems, which were developed for Germany, particularly in our small and medium-sized systems," says SolarWorld CEO Frank Asbeck. "Quality and brand are becoming increasingly significant in the solar market in the UK."

The Sunkits® series comprises quality Sunmodule Plus® modules, frame technology and inverters together with mobile or stationary reader devices enabling precise system monitoring via the Suntrol® portal. With a 25-year linear performance guarantee and a ten-year product warranty, Sunkits® represent a safe investment that is both sustainable and state-of-the-art. The new Sundeck® Slate kit has undergone special further development for the UK market. A distinguishing feature of the solar power system for slated roofs is its extra compact cover frame, which enables the black solar system to disappear from sight in the black roof. With the innovative roof-integrated systems in the Sundeck® series, modules are screwed directly onto the batten, replacing a conventional covering. No additional aluminium profiles or roof hooks are required since modules are installed using special bearing elements. The system has a modular design, making it more flexible than conventional roof-integrated solar systems.

SolarWorld AG will also be presenting its Certified Installer Programme at Ecobuild. This is aimed at installers and includes technical training, support for planning, designing and marketing solar power systems plus regular product training.
