Nordex Scores a Hit with Projects Developed In-House

published: 2012-03-28 14:54

The turbine manufacturer Nordex has sold two more newly installed wind farms with a total capacity of 22 MW to Allianz. This means that Allianz now owns more than 100 MW of Nordex turbines. The manufacturer first developed both projects together with local partners. To date Nordex France has successfully developed and marketed some 600 MW.

The projects just sold, “Croquettes” and “Longchamp” are located in the Département of “Cher” in the centre of France and consist of a total of nine N100/2500 turbines. The energy yield produced by the turbines is forecast to cover the electricity consumption of some 11,300 households.
