published: 2015-09-14 15:58

At this year’s Solar Power International 2015 exhibition (SPI 2015), Hanwha Q CELLS will introduce its next generation technology to the world – the prototypes of 60-cell Q.PEAK module with efficiency up to 18.9% and 310MWp.

The SPI 2015 trade fair will take place in Anaheim, California from September 15 to 17. Q CELLS’ next generation Q.PEAK is a follower after the current Q.ANTUN module line Q.PLUS, which has just been awarded the Solar Industry Award 2015 in the category "Module Manufacturing Innovation." The 60-cell Q.PEAK module will be displayed in Q CELLS’ booth 2505 in Hall B in the venue, and the visitors will find the entire range of Q CELLS’ high efficiency product lines from cells, modules to the comprehensive solar PV system solutions. The company’s German R&D experts will also be at the booth to present the “German Engineering.”

"We are very happy to present our strong company and the leading technology products of our Q CELLS brand in the currently largest solar market for our company", said Mr. Seong Woo Nam, Chairman and CEO of Hanwha Q CELLS. "In the United States we are building on our ability to ship large scales of tariff-free, high performance and quality modules as well as on our stability and reliability as one of the world's largest solar companies and part of the Fortune Global 500 business enterprise Hanwha Group."

Hanwha Q CELLS announced to supply 1.5GW of PV modules to NextEra Energy Resources in this April. The showcase in the SPI 2015 will further strengthen its presence in the fast-growing U.S. market.
