Solar Frontier to Supply CIS Modules to Multiple Solar Projects in Indiana

published: 2015-12-22 17:30

Solar Frontier, the Japan-based CIS solar panel provider, has signed to deliver its solar solution to more than 20MW of solar projects developed and financed by Cypress Creek Renewables, a U.S. solar developer.

Solar Frontier was chosen due to its proven technology that performs well in real-world conditions. The to-be-built three projects, which are respectively named Pastime, McDoland, and Sullivan, are located in and around the vicinity of Terre Haute, Indiana, and the EPC services are provided by local contractor Vaughn Industries.

“Solar Frontier’s CIS technology met or exceeded our performance requirements, yielding the best economics and financial returns for our projects,” said Matt McGovern, CEO of Cypress Creek Renewables.

Two of the projects have been started construction in October 2015, while the third one, Sullivan, is currently in the pre-construction phase.
