The 65MW Luning Solar Energy Project (LSEP) has been secured by its developer, Invenergy Solar Development LLC, through a contract with California-based PV system integrator Phoenix Solar. Phoenix Solar will be responsible for EPC services of the 65MW PV plant.

Phoenix Solar will use polycrystalline modules and single-axis tracking systems for LSEP to enhance power generation. The project is located near Luning in Mineral County, Nevada. This PV power plant will be built on public land owned by the federal Government and managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Tim P. Ryan, CEO of Phoenix Solar AG, said: "This is an example of the significant progress we have made in 2015 in positioning Phoenix Solar as a leading EPC contractor. The project further strengthens our market position and propels us on a path of continued growth in the highly competitive US market."

LSEP’s owner, Invenergy Solar Development, also builds, owns and operate wind, solar and natural gas-fueled power generation as well as energy storage facilities in North America and Europe.
