Tegnatia, one of Turkey’s leading EPC contractors, has signed a PV module purchase agreement with Trina Solar to acquire 40MW of Trina’s PV modules by the end of the second quarter of 2016.

Trina Solar agreed to supply Tegnatia with its high efficiency module series, TSM-PD05 (multi-si, 60-cells) and TSM-PD14 (multi-si, 72-cells), for several solar projects distributing in areas of Mersin, Adana, Konya and Erzurum. Tegnatia was established in 2013 as a joint venture between T-Dinamil, a Turkish renewable energy investment firm which has funded large-scale solar parks in Turkey, Greece and Romania; and Egnatia Group, a Greek construction company operating in Eastern Europe and the UK. The company’s major purpose is to offer solar design, implementation and maintenance services to medium- to large-scale solar projects in Turkey.

"We are delighted to partner with Trina Solar, a global solar energy leader,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tiris, General Manager at Tegnatia. “We have ambitious targets to bring the benefits of high-quality solar PV to a wider range of Turkish companies and consumers, which requires a strong and reliable partner that can provide the quality of product and service that these projects demand.
