Aeon Motor’s smart scooter continued to grow in 2021. Relying on a comprehensive product line and innovative smart instruments, Aeon resolutely retains second place in the turbulent electric scooter market. Total number of vehicles sold has also exceeded 20,000, becoming the most successful partner in the PBGN Alliance.

Aeon announced its 2021 operating results citing more than 20,000 scooter owners and a total riding mileage of over 200 million kilometers, second in electric scoter market share. The market has affirmed Aeon in the three areas of “chassis design,” “user-friendly design,” and "smart dashboard."

In 2021, Taiwan's electric scooter market bucked trends and continued to grow despite the severity of the global pandemic and the market is booming. The overall market share of electric scooters is as high as 11.6%, and various electric scooter brands have successively entered the electric scooter market, providing different smart two-wheel mobility options and a positive effect on the scooter market as a whole.

"Since its establishment in 2019, Aeon has successively released a series of models such as the Ai-1 series, Ai-3 Comfort, Ai-2 Gather, and Ai-4 Ever and is the only brand in the industry to provide comprehensive standard scooters, three-wheel commercial scooters, and light scooters.” Aeon CEO Tony Lin said that it took Aeon less than three years to become the second most popular brand of electric scooters in the market. In 2022, it is believed that, with the support of government policies, the demand for replacement and purchase of electric vehicles will continue to increase. Aeon has started research and development on new models and more smart mobility solutions to provide consumers with better smart mobility choices.

The style of Aeon smart scoters breaks through the established public impression of electric scooter design. Aeon designs unique styles and appearances according to the different needs of riders such as the wild Ai-1 series, the large commercial three-wheeler Ai-2 Gather, the cute and round Ai-3 Comfort and the Ai-4 Ever, a lightweight scooter designed by Jung-Ya Hsieh. They each feature a unique appearance in the market, providing riders a way to express their own style.

The storage and carrying space, kickstand, and the easy to operate front fork of each scooter model designed for different requirements have also left a clear impression on the hearts of many riders. In addition, the CROXERA smart instrument system has been continuously evolving since its launch, from the entry-level CROXERA 5, the advanced safety CROXERA 6, to the American-style upright CROXERA Q equipped with continuously updating Bluetooth audio, animated interface, and optional dynamic driving recorder, they have all demonstrated breakthroughs in smart two-wheeled applications. Recently, the PBGN Alliance revealed the "world's first smart rearview mirror system" developed in cooperation with MSI to bring imagination to safer and smarter two-wheel mobility.

In order to surge sales in 2022, in addition to Ai-4 Ever's plan to deliver in February, Aeon has also partnered with five major banks, Citibank, Fubon, DBS, CTBC, and Mega to launch a zero-interest installment plan for its entire scooter series, with a minimum monthly payment of less than NT$2,000. You can ride the Ai-4 Ever home and have a happy new year with a new scooter!

In addition, from January 19th to February 28th, anyone test driving any Aeon series scooter at Aeon’s smart store will receive a limited edition purse designed by renowned illustrator 1G and a free face mask featuring new movie “DEMIGOD: The Legend Begins.” In addition, participants will have an opportunity to obtain more authorized “DEMIGOD: The Legend Begins” merchandise.

Facing off against Kymco’s Ionex in 2022, whether Aeon can continue holding the position of the number two electric scooter brand will be one of the most eye-catching topics this year.
