According to Wechat Official Account @solar868, on May 9th, the Liaoning (Yingkou) Coastal Industrial Base issued the first public notice for the environmental impact assessment of the Yingkou Jinqing Solar Photovoltaic Co., Ltd.'s 5GW high-efficiency heterojunction solar cell and module project (Phase I).
The public notice indicates that the project will be constructed in two phases, involving the construction of production plants, warehouses, R&D office buildings, employee dormitories, and other supporting production facilities. The current public notice pertains to Phase I, with a total investment of 2,259,914,200 RMB. This phase includes the construction of seven module production lines, and upon reaching full capacity, the project will achieve an annual production of 5GW of high-efficiency heterojunction photovoltaic modules.
The project is located 300 meters south of the intersection of Binhai Avenue and Guoan Road in the Yingkou Coastal Industrial Base, Liaoning Province, and it is a new construction project.
Information shows that Yingkou Jinqing Solar Photovoltaic Co., Ltd. was established in October 2023 with a registered capital of 300 million RMB. The legal representative is Chang Wenkang, and the company's main business scope includes photovoltaic power generation equipment leasing, manufacturing and sales of photovoltaic equipment and components, solar power generation technology services, etc.
