On November 10th, Xinpeng Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Thailand Inno Industrial Co., Ltd. (referred to as Thailand Inno), has signed a cooperation agreement with Jabil Inc. of the United States. The two parties will jointly invest 15 million US dollars to construct a battery energy storage system project in Thailand.

According to the agreement, the two sides will establish a strategic alliance. Focusing on projects such as large and medium-sized cabinets for battery energy storage systems, they will invest in building a 15,000-square-meter Phase II workshop to promote the subsequent development and manufacturing of large and medium-sized cabinets for battery energy storage systems.

The total investment of this project is approximately 15 million US dollars. Among them, Thailand Inno will be responsible for the specific implementation of the project. It will invest its own funds in the construction of the Phase II workshop and supporting facilities of the Thailand production base, while Jabil will bear the funds for the special equipment of the project.

Pursuant to the agreement, the project is expected to complete workshop construction, product design, equipment commissioning, sample production and other links by the end of 2026, and is expected to form mass production and delivery capacity in 2027.

This cooperation will rely on Xinpeng Co., Ltd.’s production base in Thailand. It will further accelerate the advancement of the company’s overseas business layout, accumulate the design and manufacturing capabilities of products in the energy storage field, and enhance market competitiveness.

According to Xinpeng Co., Ltd.’s third quarterly report, in the first three quarters of 2025, the company achieved operating income of 3.094 billion yuan and net profit attributable to shareholders of 142 million yuan.

Data shows that Xinpeng Co., Ltd.’s main business covers the production of metal stamping and sheet metal parts, micro motors and other products, as well as the processing of computer network integration cabinets and communication equipment components. Its core business, the auto parts segment, still occupies a dominant position.
