RMB 5 Billion: Chuyuan Century’s Energy Storage Project Commissions in Sichuan
According to a release from Meishan Release, on December 26, Phase I of Sichuan Chuyuan Century’s annual 3 GWh energy storage system integration project was officially commissioned in Sichuan Province.
The project, invested and constructed by Sichuan Chuyuan Century New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., has a total investment of RMB 5 billion and covers an area of 17.33 hectares (260 mu). It is implemented in two phases.
Phase I involves the construction of a production line with an annual capacity of 3 GWh for energy storage system integration, focusing on the manufacturing of various new energy products, including cabinet-type commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage systems, wind-solar hybrid energy storage systems, and portable outdoor energy storage devices. Chuyuan Century’s products cater to diverse application scenarios across domestic and overseas markets, ranging from households and enterprises to industrial parks and power stations.
RMB 450 Million: Jiangsu’s 3 GWh Energy Storage Battery Project Under Approval Publicity
As reported by Nantong High-tech Industrial Development Zone, on December 25, the zone issued a public notice regarding the proposed approval of an annual 3 GWh energy storage battery project.
The project is undertaken by Jiangsu Muxing Shidai Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of RMB 450 million and a planned annual production capacity of 3 GWh.
According to the publicity document, the project plans to lease production premises from Nantong Juchuang Park Management Service Co., Ltd. and purchase key production equipment such as mixers, coaters, and winding machines to build the energy storage battery production line.
Beihai Puyuan’s 8 GWh Project Goes into Operation
On the morning of December 23, the commissioning ceremony of Beihai Puyuan’s export-oriented high-end energy storage equipment manufacturing project was held at the Beihai Economic and Technological Development Zone in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Invested and constructed by Beihai Puyuan Zhichu Technology Co., Ltd.—a new energy technology enterprise dedicated to the energy storage sector and a subsidiary of Xiamen Beichenxing Energy Storage Development Co., Ltd.—the project broke ground in July 2025.
It is designed to build a high-end energy storage equipment manufacturing base with an annual capacity of 8 GWh. Its products will be primarily targeted at overseas markets such as Southeast Asia, to meet the growing global demand for green energy storage.
RMB 4.8 Billion: Hengtron Nanotech’s LMFP Project Settles in Yinchuan
According to the official media center of Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone, on December 26, Jiangsu Hengchuang Nano Technology’s annual 130,000-ton lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) cathode material production project, with a total investment of RMB 4.8 billion, settled in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
The project will be constructed in two phases. Phase I plans to build a production line with an annual capacity of 25,000 tons of LMFP. Upon full completion, the project will further improve the industrial chain of new-type battery materials in the development zone.
Data shows that Jiangsu Hengtron Nanotech Co., Ltd. was founded in 2022 and focuses on the niche track of lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP), a key cathode material for lithium-ion batteries. Currently, the company is actively advancing the expansion plan of 30,000-ton annual capacity, which is expected to be put into production by the end of 2026.
