published: 2026-03-16 14:05

Recently, Chinese solar and energy storage companies have continued to accelerate their expansion into overseas markets. Multiple enterprises—including LONGi, Jinko, Sieyuan Electric, Far East Battery, Guoxia Technology, and Suzhou Yizhu Energy—have intensively secured massive solar-plus-storage orders or signed strategic cooperation agreements across countries and regions such as Europe, Southeast Asia, and South Korea.

01 LONGi Signs 600MWh Energy Storage Orders

From March 10 to 12, at the Solar Solutions exhibition in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, LONGi reached strategic partnerships with two core European partners, signing contracts for a cumulative 600MWh of energy storage systems.

LONGi reached an intention for energy storage system cooperation with BM Energy, a company active in the Western European market, involving a total of 350MWh. This cooperation combines high-performance energy storage systems with BM Energy's extensive distribution network to provide a reliable supply guarantee for renewable energy projects in the region, marking a major breakthrough for LONGi's energy storage business in the European market.

Additionally, LONGi reached an intention for energy storage system cooperation with OSW, a core distributor in the Benelux and Western European markets, involving a total of 250MWh. As LONGi's long-term partner in the regional market, OSW will leverage LONGi's high-performance energy storage systems to further enrich its portfolio of clean energy solutions, while simultaneously opening up an important channel for LONGi's energy storage business to enter the Eastern European market.

02 Jinko Delivers Athens Energy Storage Order

Recently, Athens International Airport officially announced the successful completion of its "Route 2025" energy transition roadmap. In this project, Jinko , acting as the core equipment supplier, successfully delivered an order of 123.8MWh utility-scale liquid-cooling energy storage systems.

Reportedly, this project deeply integrates the photovoltaic power generation system with Jinko's solutions, constituting the world's largest self-generated and self-consumed solar-plus-storage integrated project currently deployed in an airport scenario. In this order delivery, the liquid-cooling energy storage systems provided by Jinko will primarily be used for the regulation and optimized utilization of renewable energy within the airport, assisting the airport in building a stable and efficient clean energy system.

03 Sieyuan Electric Becomes the Strategic Preferred Supplier for a €400 Million Project

On March 11, Sieyuan Electric signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Romanian enterprises Winners Holding Investments and Finas Group, finalizing a long-term cooperation framework in the Romanian energy storage sector.

According to the cooperation details, Sieyuan Electric has been designated as the strategic preferred equipment supplier and will deeply participate in the construction of energy storage and photovoltaic projects in Romania, which will have a total investment of €400 million over the next two years.

It is worth noting that the MoU signed this time is primarily a framework document for cooperation. It specifies the core principles of both parties regarding payment guarantee mechanisms, commercial principles, and management models, laying a foundation for standardized advancement in the future. Although this MoU does not currently constitute direct equipment procurement contract obligations, Sieyuan Electric will subsequently sign formal agreements with the Romanian side for each specific implemented project individually, gradually fulfilling various equipment supply and order details.

04 Guoxia Technology Signs Cooperation Agreement with Deshang New Energy

On March 12, Guoxia Technology and Deshang New Energy officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation centering on global market expansion, the enhancement of localized service capabilities, and energy storage technology synergy.

Under the agreement, the two parties will establish a strategic partnership. They will fully leverage Guoxia Technology's technical advantages in "AI+" energy storage solutions and intelligent energy management platforms, alongside Deshang New Energy's profound accumulation in thermal management material research and development as well as overseas localized services. Together, they will target key regional markets such as Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe to promote the implementation and optimization of energy storage solutions.

05 Far East Battery Signs Cooperation Agreement with a Romanian Company

Recently, a delegation from Far East Battery visited WD Company in Romania. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the development trends of the European power and energy markets, product cooperation, and project advancement. They officially signed an annual framework cooperation agreement covering fields such as energy storage and cables.

During their exchanges, WD Company expressed high recognition for Far East Battery's comprehensive strength in product performance, manufacturing capabilities, and delivery systems. WD Company stated its hope that both parties can establish a long-term and stable strategic synergy mechanism, jointly promote the wide application of high-quality energy storage products in the European market, and collaboratively seize the development opportunities brought by the European energy transition to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

06 Suzhou Yizhu Energy Secures 120MW Solar-Plus-Storage and Renewable Energy Project Orders in South Korea

Recently, Suzhou Yizhu Energy Management Co., Ltd. successively and officially signed cooperation agreements with South Korea's OWL E&D and SOL Group for 120MW solar-plus-storage projects and renewable energy projects.

Reportedly, the 120MW solar-plus-storage project orders signed this time cover the complete business chain from preliminary planning to later-stage operation. According to the agreement, Yizhu will serve as the technology and equipment supplier, providing the project with full-process services including scheme planning, the integrated supply of core equipment such as photovoltaic modules and inverters, and system integration.
