Recently, the first batch of core equipment for the "High-Efficiency Cell Technical Upgrade Project" at Hongyuan's Xuzhou base successfully arrived and was officially moved in for installation. This marks the entry of the N-type cell production line upgrade at the Xuzhou base into a critical implementation phase.
In this technical upgrade project, Hongyuan is carrying out systematic optimization and upgrades building upon its existing N-type TOPCon production line. Under the premise of not requiring additional land, the company achieves a dual enhancement in both production line capacity and technological level by synergistically advancing the introduction of advanced equipment and the upgrading of key processes.
The core equipment installed this time deeply integrates advanced front-end processes with industry-leading multi-cut cell technology. Through process optimization, it effectively reduces carrier recombination losses and improves grid line precision. Simultaneously, it minimizes light absorption by the rear passivation layer, thereby further lowering efficiency loss.
Upon completion of the production line upgrade, it will supply higher-power solar cells to Hongyuan's downstream Jiangyin base to meet the market demand for high-power modules.
The Xuzhou base is an important production facility for Hongyuan Green Energy's strategic layout in the photovoltaic cell business. Currently, the TOPCon cell project constructed by Hongyuan Green Energy at this base has achieved mass production, and it continues to enhance mass production efficiency through ongoing process optimization. Driven forward on this foundation, this technical upgrade is regarded as a crucial step in upgrading the existing TOPCon 2.0 production line to the TOPCon 3.0 version. It will also accumulate valuable experience for the subsequent optimization of passivating contact structures and upgrades to the metallization process.
