On the evening of August 14, CALB released its earnings preview for the first half of 2026, estimating a net profit of approximately RMB 1.506 billion to 1.581 billion for H1 2026, representing a year-on-year growth of about 100% to 110%.

CALB stated that the year-on-year profit growth in the first half of the year was primarily driven by the continuous expansion of new customers and new application scenarios, as well as the sustained volume growth of new products in sectors such as passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and energy storage, which collectively boosted the overall business scale.

According to data from the TrendForce Global Energy Storage Supply Chain Database, global energy storage cell shipments exceeded 460 GWh in the first half of 2026, marking a massive year-on-year surge of approximately 94%.

Among these, CALB's energy storage cell shipments surpassed 30 GWh in H1 2026, acting as a major driving force in the delivery of utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage. The company ranked fifth globally in both overall energy storage cell shipments and utility-scale (including C&I) energy storage cell shipments.

It is worth noting that the net profit figures currently disclosed by CALB are based on preliminary calculations, and the relevant financial data has not yet been audited. The final performance will be subject to the interim report to be subsequently published by the company. The company expects to release its official financial results for the first half of 2026 by the end of August.
