EnergyTrend has learned that corporate records from Tianyancha show Ganfeng LiEnergy completed an industrial and commercial change on September 13. Its registered capital rose from RMB 3.1755746668 billion to RMB 3.508908002 billion, representing an increase of approximately 10%.

Founded in June 2011, Ganfeng LiEnergy’s legal representative is Xiao Haiyan. Its business scope covers the R&D, production and sales of lithium-ion power batteries, fuel cells and energy storage batteries, as well as supercapacitors, battery management systems, solar-wind energy storage systems and related equipment and instruments.

According to earlier reports, this registered capital change corresponds to a capital injection approved by the board of directors of parent company Ganfeng Lithium in March this year. The newly added registered capital of around RMB 333 million will be subscribed by Ganfeng Lithium using its own funds. Prior to this, Ganfeng LiEnergy completed an external capital increase and share expansion of RMB 2 billion in June. The firm has therefore secured two rounds of capital top-ups within half a year.

Alongside capital replenishment, Ganfeng LiEnergy is pressing ahead with R&D for energy storage products and production line construction.

For its energy storage business, the company is focused on the rollout of large-capacity energy storage cells. The production line for its self-developed 588Ah large-format energy storage cells has entered commissioning and trial production. The supporting 6.26MWh containerized energy storage products are scheduled for mass delivery in Q4 2026. In addition, R&D on 648Ah energy storage cells is underway.

On the capacity side, Ganfeng LiEnergy maintains a high utilization rate for its energy storage cell production lines. Its Xinyu base has built 40GWh of power and energy storage cell capacity plus 18GWh of energy storage PACK capacity. A new 10GWh energy storage battery production line in Nanchang is still under construction.
