published: 2026-10-09 11:55

Recently, a series of enterprises—including Deyi Energy, Hidfunc Technology, Changtian New Energy, and Jiuhuan Xinyue—have sequentially advanced the construction of battery and upstream material projects.

Deyi Energy’s 20GWh Battery Project Topped Out in Suzhou

Recently, the main factory building for the 20GWh annual capacity battery project of Anhui Deyi Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Chery Group) was successfully topped out in Suzhou, Anhui Province. Located in Dangshan County, Suzhou City, the project represents a fixed-asset investment of 4 billion yuan and covers a total construction area of 220,500 square meters, comprising cell production workshops, film-wrapping/PACK workshops, and auxiliary facilities.

Among these, the ultra-large cell workshop—spanning a single-building area of 124,000 square meters—will house highly automated production lines. It will primarily focus on 187Ah and 166Ah blade batteries as well as 684Ah energy storage batteries, fully concentrating on the R&D and manufacturing of high-performance power and energy storage batteries.

Hidfunc Technology’s 3GWh Sodium-Ion Battery Project Settles in Yixing

On October 8, Hidfunc Technology’s high-performance sodium-ion battery project officially settled in the Yixing Integrated Circuit Equipment Industrial Park.

Invested and constructed by Jiangsu Hidfunc Technology Co., Ltd., the project utilizes approximately 20,000 square meters of facility space within the park and plans to build a sodium-ion battery cell manufacturing base with an annual production capacity of 3GWh.

Changtian New Energy’s 15GWh Sodium Battery Project Passes Filing Approval

Recently, the 15GWh sodium-ion battery manufacturing base project of Changtian New Energy in the Yiyang High-Tech Zone officially passed project filing approval. Invested and constructed by Yiyang Changtian New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Changyao Electronics, the project involves a total investment of 1.3 billion yuan and is located west of Yincheng Avenue in the Yiyang High-Tech Zone, Hunan Province.

Utilizing the existing Phase I factory buildings of former Aidiao (Hunan Idea Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.), the project will mainly construct 5 dedicated production lines with a speed of 15 PPM for large energy storage cells, along with associated utility and auxiliary facilities. Its products will focus primarily on large energy storage cells and battery packs, reaching a total production capacity of 15GWh upon completion.

Jiuhuan Xinyue’s 100,000-Ton Iron Phosphate Project Breaks Ground

On September 28, Phase II of the 300,000-ton continuous iron phosphate production project of Shandong Binzhou Jiuhuan Xinyue New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. officially broke ground.

Representing a total investment of 2.578 billion yuan, the overall project is being constructed in three phases. Phase I (50,000 tons of iron phosphate) has already been commissioned, while Phase II (100,000 tons of battery-grade iron phosphate) has now broken ground. Once all phases are fully completed and reach full design capacity, the facility will achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of high-performance iron phosphate.
