On August 29, Risen Energy's first batch of pHJT CIC (Coverglass-Interconnected Space Solar Cell) cells successfully rolled off the production line under the RisenFlex Nova series.

The RisenFlex Nova series utilizes p-type heterojunction (pHJT) technology and features a cell thickness of 70μm. The size can be adjusted according to specific requirements, currently covering dimensions from 30×40 mm to 210×105 mm. The product is primarily designed for specialized environmental applications and is now open to customers for custom verification.

During the SNEC exhibition in June this year, Risen Energy officially launched the RisenFlex Nova products. Publicly available information indicates that the product employs 70μm-thick p-type heterojunction cells with dimensions of 210 mm × 105 mm. It boasts a BOL (Beginning of Life) efficiency of 21%, and its maximum efficiency can reach up to 22.2% under the AM0 space standard spectrum.

According to the company's semi-annual report, the 70μm ultra-thin HJT cells have already achieved small-batch delivery, while products with a thickness of less than 70μm are also currently under development. Based on Risen Energy's strategic planning, the ultra-thin HJT cells are expected to establish a GW-scale mass production capacity by 2027. Moving forward, the team will continue to optimize manufacturing yield, conversion efficiency, and overall reliability to advance the product's iteration and upgrades.
